KC NAVIGATORS

FOUNDER’S VISION
I envision this organization achieving great accomplishments. The initial
vision was inspired by the desire for a dynamic team offering an array of
services for youth in the metropolitan area.  Seeing the need for not only
providing youth and their families with a strong innovative program but
allowing them to enjoy these services at little or no cost. Hopefully, this
vision will bring joy and hope to our community. It is with much delight to
experience youth playing to their fullest potential and having the ability to
provide them with the necessary tools to make the most of their talents.

My vision has been fostered by my belief in Jesus Christ, knowing that all
things are possible through him. It is Christ who strengthens and guides my
vision on a daily basis. It is the power of the Holy Spirit that teaches me to
trust in the unseen and hope for what is to come. It is with great pleasure to
have God lead and prepare my steps; it is he that arranges for only the best
and qualified individuals to have the opportunity to work with the best of
talented youth. I believe that every child has hidden potentials and talents;
all they need is the opportunity and the right environment to nourish and
develop those talents. It is through faith, that God will guide the members of
this team. Confidence in all this is the vision of a powerful and great team
that will grow and become undefeated.

A winning vision that will produce a legend to tell for generations to come.
It is a clear vision that as this organization strengthens it will widen its
possibilities and open up opportunities to all youth girls and boys. It is only a
matter of patience that brings me to say that this organization will be lead
to serve all ages including tots and adults, creating enormous levels of
partnering with other community agencies with similar visions.

A vision is only a vision without the individuals that make the effort to mirror
all the underlying means of making it a reality. It is not without mention the
path ahead will indeed be challenging and enduring at times. It is with
expectation that every good thing has earned its rightful place by pushing
forward with the cause of existence. My vision is everyone’s vision that ever
dreams and hopes for something better. To strive without a vision and goal
is to write without a pencil or to walk without legs, it is merely impossible.
Never the less all is possible with Christ. It is with much hope that everyone
that comes in contact with this organization or me will ultimately
experience the power of the almighty, GOD.  If you ever wanted to see a
miracle, just stay tuned to the KC Navigators it is a miracle in the making.

MANAGEMENT
2009 BUSINESS PLAN

As founder and manager of the KC Navigators youth basketball
organization, my plan is to lead the organization into a very successful
season by organizing and maintaining the team’s operation on a daily basis.
It is with great intent and anticipation to lead the organization’s team down
a winning path by incorporating the team’s mission and philosophy. As
manager of this team I will seek all opportunities on every level to ensure
current and future possibilities, by enforcing the following plan to the fullest
extent:

·        Maintain and encourage seasonal sponsorship increases
·        Create a powerful and dynamic Coach Team
·        Network with high school and college recruiters for future positions for
players
·        Arrange partnerships with current agencies allowing internships and
co-ops for players
·        Facilitate and organize volunteer services to and by our players
·        Maintain a continued stream of professional trainers and coaches
throughout the season
·        A continued educational process providing instructional tools, sharing
sport secrets and guides for players
·        Register and maintain enrollment in the top area and non-local
leagues and tournaments.
·        Provide leadership skills at every level for all members
·        Maintain and encourage a positive relationship with area Media
agencies
·        Develop and create on-going strategies to sponsor events, such as;
clinics, camps and leagues
·        A continued service to the community, striving for equal opportunities
for all players, parents and coaches regardless of their race, color, religion,
creed or national origin.

All the above is inclusive of the founder’s vision to encourage and develop
young athletes into great leaders of tomorrow by giving them the tools and
means to obtain their goals.
